Dr. Jordon Shaw

Moving to Maury County at the age of 6, I have always considered Maury County home. I attended elementary school at both Riverside Elementary and Baker Elementary and middle school at Santa Fe School. After graduating high school, I went on to receive my bachelor's degree in organizational management. After finishing my bachelor's degree, I went on to obtain a master's degree in information systems and my doctorate degree in business administration. My wife, Stacey, was born at Maury Regional Hospital and grew up in Santa Fe. Our daughter, Jacey, was also born at Maury Regional Hospital and is currently a 4th grader at Columbia Academy - Spring Hill. We are members of Thompson Station Church and attend our Columbia campus, which has been held at Riverside Elementary School for the last three years.

In addition to my education, I also served our great nation for nine years as a member of the Army National Guard. I worked six years as a Department of Defense employee and have worked for seven years at the City of Franklin, TN, where I currently serve as the Director of IT. I have a great deal of governmental experience and have been a part of helping governments deal with change for many years. In 2015 I had the pleasure to serve on a Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee for the City of Spring Hill, where I had the pleasure of advising the City on the overall comprehensive plan. Additionally, in 2015 I had the pleasure to serve as the Vice Chairman for the Parks and Recreation Commission, also for the City of Spring Hill. In this role, I worked to help create a parks and recreation master plan and worked to help open Port Royal Park in Spring Hill, Maury County.
